TheraPink for Girls is committed to improving mental health awareness among Black and Brown girls in communities through accessible and safe space programming.

Enhance understanding and diminish stigma surrounding mental health within Black and Brown communities through advocacy campaigns and community engagement initiatives.

Empower youth and families with mental health education through interactive workshops, tailored social-emotional programs, and continuous research initiatives.

Establish nurturing environments for girls to foster confidence in discussing mental health within safe spaces.

Forge partnerships with community stakeholders and organizations to bolster accessibility to mental health resources for both youth and families.

We deliver school-based mental health and wellness programming to middle schools in Atlanta and Detroit. These programs are integrated into the regular school schedule, taking place once a week for 60 minutes throughout the academic year. Each session accommodates a maximum of 15 girls per grade level, offering a supportive environment where girls can freely discuss topics related to mental health and wellness.

TheraPink for Girls hosts a series of free community-based self-care and wellness programs year-round, offering opportunities for youth in communities to engage. Each program is designed to introduce girls to diverse self-care practices aimed at enhancing mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Programs occur virtually, and locally in Detroit and Atlanta.

Each year, TheraPink for Girls welcomes a new group of undergraduate college students to join as volunteer interns. This internship offers students the chance to apply their academic knowledge in the mental health sector, engaging in research, program development, community outreach, professional growth, and advocacy efforts.
